A premium filtration, pleated design
element with maximum surface area has been designed by . This filter has to be
used in the suction line to obtain the lowest possible pressure drop on large
tonnage remote systems with a large line after solid core has been already used
to collect acid, moisture and sludge from the hermetic burn out refrigeration
or air-conditioning system. This filter
helps to remove solid contaminates that may be in the system at start up to
protect the compressor from dirt, copper chips, copper oxides, metal chips and
other solid contamination and thus extend the life of the system.
DESIGN FEATURES
1) It provide excellent protection and
high effective filtration to the compressor valve, reeds or working part of the
compressor from circulating dirt and solid contaminates at moderate cost. 2) replaceable pleated filter elements
are suitable for installation in the desiccant core shell for clean up after
burnout but with certain precaution. 3) The filtering media used in Suction filters
make a high full flow design, which provide large filtration area in depth but with
lowest pressure drop. 4) Suction Filter gives protection to
field build up system where cutting or brazing of lines are required. 5) Inserted micro glass filter material
insures lubricant compatibility and the flow velocity of the suction filter
does not act as oil trap; so proper oil return is obtained. 6) The pleated elements offer 6 times the
surface area of the previous filter element and 40 micron filtration. 7) The perforated metal tubes around the inside
and outside diameter of the element make it suitable to be used for either flow
direction in horizontal or vertical position. 8) Unique slim design requires small size
shell on a system with large line size resulting to considerable economy. 9) Recommended for Refrigerant - R12, 134a,
22, 404A, 502 etc. 10) Each element are individually packed
in metal cans fully sealed against moisture and dirt and to preserve freshness.
